Week 4 Discussion: Narrative story

Q Week 4 Discussion: Narrative story 3 Examples of Six-Word Stories The most famous example of a six-word story is frequently credited to Ernest Hemingway (though there’s little evidence that he actually wrote it): “For sale: baby shoes. Never worn.” In six simple words, a heartbreaking narrative is told—from the few words but also from what is left out. Here are other short stories in this format: Thirteenth birthday, I laughed and cried. I’m dating him; she’s my girlfriend. Google: how to inflate a liferaft! For this post: 1) IN YOUR POST: Write your own six-word story. Please make sure it is original...I will google the submissions to make sure. 2) IN YOUR POST: Write a minimum of 100 words explaining where your inspiration came from and the process that you went through to create your story. 3) For your answers to your classmates, you should reply to at least two classmates by midnight Friday after the discussion post is due. This week's replies will be different - EACH reply must be at least 100 words. Tell your classmate what you thought their story was meant to convey and what you felt as you read it. I have also attached a short story that is considered to be a wonderful example of narration.
